This web site is an informational web site for the Municipal Employees of Johnston Rhode Island. Our Union members belong to the American Federation of State,County and Municipal Employees also known as AFSCME. We are members of Local 1491. There are app 88 members in the Union to date. Restaurant opening!!!!

We have a new restaurant which just opened in the Town of Johnston. The name of the restaurant is " Johna's". The restaurant is located at 659 Killingly Street Johnston. The restaurant will open Thursday night, 4/22/2010. This is an Italian restaurant. The restaurant is owned by retired Police Captain John DiMaio. Please stop by and give John & Andrea our support. There will be a Grand Opening on May 1st at 4:00 pm to Close.
Free appetizers and soft drinks will be served..
