This web site is an informational web site for the Municipal Employees of Johnston Rhode Island. Our Union members belong to the American Federation of State,County and Municipal Employees also known as AFSCME. We are members of Local 1491. There are app 88 members in the Union to date. For the second year in a row. The Johnston Police Department has won the Guns & Hoses game. The score was JPD 33 and JFD 12.
