This web site is an informational web site for the Municipal Employees of Johnston Rhode Island. Our Union members belong to the American Federation of State,County and Municipal Employees also known as AFSCME. We are members of Local 1491. There are app 88 members in the Union to date. May Union Meeting

The May Union meeting will be held on Tuesday May 8th 2007. The meeting will be at 7:oo pm. The location will be the Bridge at Cherry Hill FKA Whytebrook Terrace. We will meet once again in the "Tea Room".
Please make sure to use the Main entrance, which is located on the Cherry Hill Road side of the building.
We will be giving away another $20.00 gift card to Stop & Shop.
You must be present to win.
Coffee & Pastry will be served!!!
